SCISYS Deutschland becomes partner in one of the most significant space industry research concentrations in Australia as part of a new Cooperative Research Centre for Smart Satellite Technologies and Analytics – the SmartSat CRC.
With their long-standing expertise in the areas of satellite operation, ground segment and advanced technologies, the space experts of SCISYS Deutschland have joined the SmartSat CRC in developing the next-generation of trusted artificial-intelligence algorithms and advanced mission-control-centre solutions in Down Under. By signing a cooperation agreement SCISYS becomes one of the first technology partners in Australia’s smart-satellite revolution.
Having supported more than 50 European and international satellite missions, including Galileo and the International Space Station, SCISYS is looking forward to bringing its knowledge, expertise and guidance to the accelerated development of the Australian space ecosystem. The SmartSat CRC will also benefit from SCISYS’ innovative brands and pioneering products.
With this collaboration SCISYS becomes part of a strong team of renowned international companies from industry and science, international space agencies (such as ESA and NASA), Australian start-ups, universities and research institutes. Together they will work on several projects to take Australia’s space industry to the next level.

The Australian Cooperative Research Centre will be headquartered in Adelaide, South Australia, at the newly established creation and innovation neighbourhood LOT Fourteen – right next to the Australian Space Agency.
