WDR places order for XD-Ingest

Following a tender process, WDR has placed an order for nine video ingest stations by SCISYS. These ingest stations that will be deployed as kiosk-systems in the WDR regional studios will give journalists and field-teams an easy way to ingest video and transfer this material to the dedicated production servers. SCISYS will deliver a software solution that allows to ingest material from several stations and transfer this material to the ISIS-Servers by AVID. The systems will be operational later this year.
