Spacecraft Operations
SciSys provides Spacecraft Operations services to the European Space Agency. SciSys GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of SciSys Ltd, has an office close to ESOC (the European Space Operations Centre) in Darmstadt, Germany. SciSys has around 40 engineers, analysts and spacecraft controllers based in Darmstadt.
Operations Support has been and is provided to many missions including:
- Herschel-Planck
- METOP
- CryoSat
- Smart 1
- Mars Express
- Ulysses
- ENVISAT
- XMM-Newton
- Integral
- Cassini-Huygens
SciSys have also provided Phase B Support for TerraSAR-L, and are providing training services for the Rosetta and Venus Express missions.
