The nature of regulation in the UK is changing. Efficient governance and the reduction of burden on the regulated, whilst focussing on those who flaunt regulation is the new approach, called "risk based regulation". This amounts to a huge change in the way many Government departments and Agencies do business, and how industry interfaces with them.
