Thames Water - Notes Managed Service (NMS)

Thames Water is one of the world's largest water providers with over 6,000 employees worldwide. SciSys supported and maintained the Thames Water Lotus Notes environment between 1997 and 2009. During this time the application and service provided evolved into a full end-to-end global managed service.

What made this service so effective was its ability to provide a re-active support service for Thames Water's users and a pro-active service that enabled SciSys to recommend and implement products and upgrades designed to enhance and improve Thames Water's Notes environment.

SciSys worked with Thames Water to introduce collaboration services, and implement Blackberry mobile device systems and servers. This allowed mobile users the ability to stay connected with wireless access to their email, corporate data, phone, web and organiser details.
